Community Guidelines

Effective date: August 11, 2026

Peak Journey exists to help people do good things for their mind, body, and friendships—together. These rules apply to Duels, profiles, friend requests, nearby discovery, challenges, direct messages, leaderboards, reports, and public shares.

1. Compete With Care

  • Choose a safe place and activity level. Stop when you feel pain, dizziness, unsafe conditions, or distraction risk.
  • Do not pressure another person to continue, overexert, reveal personal information, or choose a video mode.
  • Do not distract, shame, threaten, or interfere with another participant during an activity.
  • Never use Peak Journey while driving or in another situation that requires your full attention.

2. Respect Every Person

Harassment, bullying, hate, threats, stalking, sexual content or nudity, exploitation, grooming, spam, and dangerous encouragement are not allowed. This includes conduct based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender, sexual orientation, or another protected characteristic.

3. Protect Privacy and Age Boundaries

  • Do not ask for or share addresses, precise locations, routes, passwords, payment information, or other sensitive details.
  • Do not record, screenshot, identify, or redistribute another participant without any consent required by law.
  • Users ages 13–17 and adults must not attempt to cross Peak Journey's separate Duel, profile, friendship, challenge, history, or messaging cohorts.
  • Never misstate your age, use another person's account, or help someone bypass an eligibility or safety control.

4. Keep Camera and Messages Appropriate

Ghost Duel has no opponent video. Adult Live Focus and pose Duels require silent camera video and are intended only to show you completing the activity in an appropriate environment; Live Run uses no camera. Direct messages are for friends and must remain respectful. Do not send links, attachments, sexual requests, threats, spam, or instructions to move a minor-adult conversation outside Peak Journey.

5. Play Fair

  • Submit only your own real activity.
  • Do not fake GPS, pose, timer, device, account, network, or verification signals.
  • Do not coordinate outcomes, alternate accounts, intentional disconnects, or repeated pairings to farm ratings or statistics.
  • Accept no-contest decisions and review holds while verification or safety checks are completed.

6. Block and Report

If something feels wrong, turn off video, leave when safe, block the person, and report the relevant match or message. Reports should be truthful and specific. Do not misuse reporting to punish a fair result or target another user. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services; Peak Journey is not an emergency service.

7. Enforcement

We may hide content, quarantine messages, mark a match no contest, limit camera or messaging, remove leaderboard results, revoke friendships, suspend features, or terminate an account. Enforcement may consider severity, context, prior behavior, manipulation patterns, and risk to minors or other users.

These Guidelines supplement our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Questions or safety concerns can be sent to support@peakjourney.app.
